From the first can crush of Quint, our professional shark hunter from Jaws, we have been addicted to the aggressive behavior and ocean dominance of sharks.  From the Great White to Nurse Sharks-bite force, speed, size, migratory patterns have all been a point of interest.  And friends, I think we can all agree that summer just wouldn’t be summer without Shark Week.

If Mazdas were sharks, here is how we think it would play out.

Mazda3 + Carribean Reef Shark

Like the Carribean Reef Shark, the Mazda3 is taking a bite out of it’s competition.  It’s the winner of the 2020 World Car Awards for Design, is a 2020 IIHS Top Safety Pick, and has a 5 star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  If you like a sporty vehicle with great gas mileage (35 EPA-EST HWY MPG), this is your pick.  Learn more.

Mazda6 + Leopard Shark

Crafted by Mazda artisans, the Mazda6 is built with premium materials.  It has been engineered to be ultra responsive at a low rpm.  It has effortless power gliding over the highway the way the leopard shark can cut through the ocean water. Learn More

Mazda CX-30 + Lemon Shark

Class leading standard horsepower and seating for 5, the CX-30 is designed to seamlessly fit in your life.  It provides the functionality of an SUV but retains the size of a smaller, gas efficient vehicle.  If you like to hang in groups like the Lemon Shark, you will love the spacious seating for 5 and ample cargo space.  The only question that remains is...which beach are you road tripping to? Learn More.

Mazda CX-5 + Hammerhead Shark
5,000 RPM and increased torque of 320lb-ft at just 2,500 rpm. The dynamic-pressure turbocharger is instantly responsive.  The Mazda CX-5 seats 5, is an IIHS Top Safety Pick, and has a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  One could say that the Mazda CX-5 packs a punch much like the Hammerhead Shark. Learn More.

Mazda CX-9 + Tiger Shark

The similarity between the Mazda CX-9 and Tiger Shark can be summed up in one word- POWERFUL.  The Mazda CX-9, much like the Tiger Shark, has acceleration when and where you need it most.  It is designed to invigorate your every drive. The Mazda CX-9 seats up to 7, is incredibly versatile with cargo space options, and hugs the road with predictive AWD. Learn More.

I think we can agree that Mazdas, with their sleek yet undeniably powerful exterior and premium features on the interior, are the king of the road just like sharks are king of the ocean.  Which vehicle will be test driving this weekend?
